SHOCKING!! No More Social Media In Liberia

The Liberian government has officially shut down the use of social media in the country.
All social media platforms like; Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Snap Chat and messaging app Whatapp have been blocked by the internet providers in Liberia as of Friday 7 June 2019, according to real-time data.

Thousands of Liberians gathered in the capital Monrovia to protest "Corruption and creeping dictatorship" in the country.

Social media sites were also blocked later on to quell the protest, according to the internet monitoring platform NetBlock.
