China To Issue A New Versions Of Visa From 1 Jun

The exist-entry department of China's public security authorities will start issuing new versions of visa and residence  for foreigners from Saturday, says the National Immigration Administration (NIA)  on Saturday.
"The current version will no longer be issued on the same day, while the document already issued are still valid until there dates of expiry". said the NIA

"The new versions of the document are sticker-like papers designed based on standard of the DOC9303 machine-readable travel documents of the International Civil Aviation Organisation with the application of multiple physical anti-counterfeit technologies.

"Compared to the current version , the new version has made an adjustments in the documents' formats, sections and machine-readable codes.

"The means and means and requirements for application procedures for examination and approval, and the standards, charges and requirement of port examinations will remain the same." the NIA said
