Solider Who Killed Okada Rider Over N100 Bribe Got Arrested


Governor Okezie Ikeazu of Abia on the 8 of August being Thursday said that the armed security personnel who allegedly shot and killed a commercial motorcyclist in a community near Aba has been arrested.
The deceased Chimaobi Uzouka was reportedly killed for refusing to part with N100 bribe at Ohanze military checkpoint, NAN reports.

The suspects was said to have immediately fled the area after the horrible act.

According to a release issued by Onyebuchi Emeemanka, the governor chief  press secretary, Ikpeazu announced the arrest of the suspect when he paid a condolence visit to the bereaved family at umuokereke Ngwa community in Obingwa LGA of the state.


The governor has swore to exhaust all avenues possible to ensure that the deceased who left behind a pregnant wife, two sons and an aged mother gets justice.
